EvelineCharles knows the importance of giving back to the community. Over the years Eveline herself has actively
participated on boards and committees of several Edmonton charities and her company has donated over $125,000
to charity in the last several years as well as hundreds of volunteer hours.
In 2007 Eveline will Support the Youth Emergency Shelter and Junior Achievement of Alberta at a financial and volunteer level.
Eveline has brought her philanthropic drive into the Academy and students of the Academy so that they can also learn the importance of giving back to the community.
Students have shaved heads in support of cops for cancer along with waxing chests and legs also as a cancer fundraiser. Students also provide services to charitable foundation staff as a thank you for their commitment to charity. The school also participates with hair cuts, facials, manicures and pedicures for some charitable recipients.
The students get very excited about events and one major highlight of the past year was providing haircuts for young girls
before they started school in September as part of our support for Big Sisters.
