ARE YOU SUITED FOR A CAREER IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY?
Ask yourself these questions:   Do you enjoy being social? Are you interested in making others feel their best? Do you like a team environment? Like diversity? Do you like to control your own career growth and potential? Understand the needs of all age groups? Enjoy working closely with individuals and providing personal services? Like to keep updated on skills and fashion?

WHY IS THE BEAUTY BUSINESS BOOMING?
With the work environment getting increasingly competitive and professional, the need to appear well groomed and attractive is of greater importance not just for women, but men as well.  The fast pace of modern living leaves little time for personal grooming, causing more people to turn to professionals for treatments and products to improve and maintain their appearance.

As these skills are highly specialized, they require not only professional expertise but a great deal of practical training as well.  The role of the hair salon and day spa has taken on a significant importance and the need for qualified beauty professionals is increasing to meet the demands of this growing industry.
